Wow! O_O

You know, I can actually picture Batman having a giant robot. Being crazy-prepared and all, and ridiculously rich. And besides, Spider-Man got one in official media! At least, the Japanese live-action series.

How do u make the fingers. I'm always interested in moving finger gauntlets :)

hello! the fingers are pretty simple. I just make 3 separate segments per finger(connected by garter) and then make straps for each segment. You just slide in your fingers under the straps and then move your fingers like so.

O____O. Oh my god! Marvin Mariano!

Oh damn! How do i start. uhhhhhh.... Kamusta kababayan! hahaha. then...uhhh...XD. I'm sorry, this just really caught me by surprise.

First, thanks for making such awesome Batman art. ^__^ Months ago, I was looking for a nice rendition of Batman, this one really caught my eye PLUS it was illustrated by a fellow Filipino as well. XD.

I specialize in mecha/robot cosplay so seeing Batman Killgear just blew my mind. I knew I had to make it! So here it is.hehe

Second, I apologize for not notifying you about the existence of this costume. T___T. I really planned on messaging you about it but it just kept on slipping away from my mind because I was dealing with my thesis and graduation requirements. I just remembered about it upon reading this message. So, sorry again.>___<. T___T. I didnt forget to credit you though as shown in the "Artist's comments".

I'll show more pictures of it soon. Haha. I dont really take many pictures but I'll do it for you. :D

It's an honor to meet you here in DA. :)

Hello there Abraham,

Yes, kamusta kababayan!. That's alright and thanks man. I did see the credit so that was very cool. A friend of mine actually saw your page here by accident and told me about the batman suit. I was really surprised and just kept saying wow, lol. When you get the chance to take more pics forward it here: marvin.mariano@gmail.com

You've got serious talent and really shows on your work. Definitely keep that up, but more importantly school first!. I'm sure you'll be able to turn your passion into something huge and maybe land you in the movie industry creating what you love to do. Hey you know I've been wanting to create the Iron Man suit for last year's Halloween but never seem to get any time. Seeing your work here is giving me the itch to start one up, haha. I'm curious as to how long it you to make the Batman Killgear, heck I'm even curious about what the back looks like, lol.

By the way, I would love to see your cosplay version of my 'Steel Breed' characters. Check it out on www.steelbreed.com. It's my webcomic that I'm producing along with a good buddy of mine. Pass it along to all your friends and tell us what you think:D Maybe someday if (hoping!) we get a huge following and create a fan base back home in the Philippines, we'll get to attend the comic book shows there :D

Well I've added you here on my DA watch list. Great meeting you on here too.

I'm glad to know you like the costume. ^_^ Costume making took around roughly 50 work hours. I've been working on it slowly since january and I debuted it last March. :D I must say, the shoulders were the most difficult to make. XD. Very big shoulders. And yeah, I had to get creative with some parts (such as the back) of the costume because of the limitations of the sketch. I mostly added some gundam details in the back. XD. I happen to collect gundam plastic model kits and I just chose some nice parts to add. And the color scheme! Distributing the black and gold parts was mostly artistic discretion. XD.

It was a good thing that the outcome was great. The costume actually won a big competition back here. It won 1st place out of 310 competitors which is the largest number of cosplay entrants in Philippine convention history. :D Hope I made you proud with that. hahaha.

I'll probably post the pics on multiply by tomorrow. :D

Yeah! I'll spread word about Steel Breed. The first thing i thought of upon visiting the Steel Breed site was to look for cosplay-able designs. Hahaha! I'd love to make another costume based on your designs. :D All i need is your front and back sketches. Hehe. The design guessing part i did with Batman Killgear was a bit difficult. XD.

I also added you to my watch list. You probably get this a lot but I'll say it anyway. You are one awesome mecha artist and I'm a fan of yours. Keep rockin!
